Our new range of door handles makes it much easier to operate a lift-to-lock mechanism which is standard on most new uPVC doors. There has always been some degree of effort needed to engage all the internal hookbolts, roller cams and other locks on our high security doors – it’s what drives the multi-point locking system home and provides compression on the weatherseals to keep out drafts. A small number of customers have found it difficult to generate the extra bit of oomff needed (not a technical term!) and so we have sourced an extended handle to provide more leverage. With the new handle, customers can effortlessly engage all the locking points.
