What is our Unique Lifetime Warranty?
The Company guarantees for the period that you, the original customer, remain in occupation of the installation address to replace or repair any of our Kömmerling frames which proves defective due to yellowing, faulty workmanship, faulty materials or corrosion for as long as you live. Naturally, this guarantee does not cover accidental damage or natural weathering and tarnishing of furniture, but does include locking mechanisms, hinges and double glazed units (due to their nature, encapsulated units, plumbing and all electrical work have a 12 month guarantee although all building work and conservatory roofs still enjoy a full 10 year warranty). If you decide to move house within the first 10 years then you can still transfer the balance of that 10 year period to the purchaser of your home. To do this, just send us their details in writing, quoting your contract number.
In-line patios, composite doors, conservatory roofs and vertical sash sliders are made for us by third party companies and are not Kömmerling frames. However, they still benefit from a full transferable 10 year guarantee instead of the Lifetime Warranty.
